Frequently Asked Questions
If you are new to my studio, you may have questions for me. Before filling out my form I have gathered some FAQs for you to review. If you do not see the answer you are looking for here, please do leave it in the “additional questions, comments or accommodations” portion of my form.

My hourly rate: $175/hr ($100 deposit)
Minimum to book: $150 ($50 deposit) - generally applied to projects that take me less than an hour to complete.
Your final cost will depend on size and complexity of your design as these are the main factors I consider when determining how much time is needed to complete your tattoo.
If you are interested in receiving a small-scale, less detailed piece (2 inches or less) I almost always recommend considering 2 designs to make the most of our appointment.
All clients are quoted prior to setting a time and date for their session. The quote will include your total, as well as a breakdown of your remaining balance due once your deposit has been deducted with applicable sales tax, so you know exactly what to expect the day of.

I accept both cash and debit/credit (tap to pay available) which is subject to a 3.5% processing fee

I am willing to accommodate within reason. We can plan multiple sessions spread out over time for large scale pieces, or create a simplified, smaller version of your design. If you have a budget let me know what it is in the accommodations portion of my form. I will try to match you where you are in terms of style, detail & time.

I prefer that clients arrive solo when possible, especially for longer sessions. My space is not built for crowds, so I limit clients to 1 guest over the age of 18.
I do not allow hovering in my procedure area due to the presence of biohazardous waste, harsh chemicals, and sharps. All guests must remain in the waiting area for the duration of the appointment to minimize disruption and for their safety.
If you do plan to bring a guest, be sure that you arrive together as my door is locked once I begin our session.

I am available Wednesday-Sunday from 10 AM to 6PM to tattoo you. I am typically booked a month in advance from the current date. (Unless stated otherwise on my tattoo request form)
Once your project has been accepted and you have been sent the direct link to my calendar you will see my remaining availability. My calendar displays dates/times 3 months out.
-
I make an effort to review my inbox when time allows but will typically respond within 3 days at most and in the order messages are received. My e-mail sees a high volume of inquiries daily. Because of this, I do not accept every single project proposal that comes my way. Typically for the various reasons stated at the end of my form. To remain efficient with my booking process & time I give priority to forms that are thorough and do not lack key information. It is important that I not only understand the client and their vision, but that the prospective client has done research on me as well to ensure a successful appointment.

No, as a solo artist running this private studio myself, I simply cannot accommodate people on the spot. All of my tattoos are by appointment only and designs are created in advance. Same day appointments or immediate openings are dependent of last-minute cancellations/reschedules which are rare.

I specialize in fine line, ornamental, illustrative style tattoos
Design wise, any piece that is:
Nature Inspired (Fauna, botanical, celestial)
Whimsical/Fantasy (Mythical creatures, tales from literature, movies & games)
Ornate (Mandalas, symmetrical, intricate, decorative patterns)
Print & Script lettering (Quotes, Lyrics, handwritten notes)
Still life subject matter (Fruits, vases, mirrors, and other common household items)
I prioritize booking med-xlarge scale pieces but will take on smaller, simplistic projects when availability allows.

I do not. I cannot guarantee that my added touch will flow or that the end result is one that will be seamless, especially if styles differ.
Only the original artist will know what pigments and needle cartridges were used. I simply prefer not to pick up where another person left off due to the hassle of working on a design that is not my own.
However, I do accept cover ups/re-works on a case by case basis. I am always open to adding new designs around pre-existing tattoos vs extending them.
-
If needed, I offer a free initial touch up for my clients so long as it is scheduled within a 3-month period. Additional touch ups, follow up outside of the suggested timeframe or add-ons to the original design will be subject to charge.
-
I do not send out designs prior to our session in order to protect my time and work. This is due to a history of poor past experiences and trusting that my drawing would not be taken elsewhere, which has resulted in loss of time and income. Thank you for understanding. I dedicate the beginning of our session to review designs and adjust them as we see fit.
-
Absolutely!
Only 1 form will need to be submitted. I tattoo groups up to 3 people max due to space. Simply state in the “additional comments, questions, or accommodations request” portion of the form that this will be a matching tattoo.
Please note that this ONLY applies if everyone participating is receiving the same design. Size and placement can differ.

Washington state law prohibits us from tattooing anyone under the age of 18 REGARDLESS of parental consent. All clients must be 18+ and provide physical government/state issued identification to confirm they are of legal age to receive tattoo services. Expired ID without temporary renewal documentation and/or photocopies will not be accepted under any circumstances.
